FRIENDS OF POP

Do you remember what inspired you to make Cape Cod your home. Were you fond of sand dunes and salty air, or the quaint little villages here and there? If so, Protect Our Past (POP) may be of interest to you.

Protect Our Pastis working to wake up the Cape and Islands community to its ability to save historic properties.

​

At POP, our goal is to engage, inspire and imbue full and part-time residents of the Cape and Islands, as well as their visitors, with the rich history of the peninsula and the neighboring islands. Protect Our Past believes education delivered through media is the most persuasive and effective avenue to reach that goal.

Protect Our Past has a WOMR Radio show: “Protect Our Past,” which airs the fourth Wednesday of every month at 12:30pm. 

​

Let’s work together to reawaken and instill the value of restoring and maintaining the historic houses on the Cape and Islands. We encourage you to become a Friend of POP to help us slow down the destruction of the character of our streetscapes and views. All donations are tax-deductible.
